Burmese films to be shortlisted for Asian Academy Creative Awards

National winners from 16 countries were announced on October 15 at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, a Singapore-sponsored annual annual awards ceremony for the best performing arts in the Asia-Pacific region. Artists from all walks of life, including film and series 3 from Myanmar; Experts were selected as National Winners.

National Winners representing Myanmar have been shortlisted for the final Gala Awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. Khara was selected as the National Winner for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Series in Myanmar (World Series 2)

Ku Ku Zin Aung (Best Screenplay Actor) from The Stranger House; Htoo Paing Zaw Oo (Best Director Award); National Film Winner of the Best Film Award The TV series “Butterfly” also won the Best Soundtrack Award – ENIEMES OF YOU (Butterfly Volume 1);
Best Cinematography Award – Wei Yan Pbe (Butterfly Volume 1); Best TV Series Award – Butterfly Vol. She was nominated for four awards, including Best Actress – Pink (Butterfly Volume 1).

In addition, Yuri Film – Director Aga Thura was nominated for a National Screenplay Award for Best Screenplay. Dear Father: The short story was also nominated for Best Short Story. WLC: King of Nine Limbs was also selected as the National Winner for Best Sports. Mingalar Cinema Animation was also selected as the National Winner for Best Voice.

Now that Myanmar has been selected as a National Winner and has been shortlisted, it will continue to compete with films from other countries. The Grand Awards and Gala Final will be held in December.
